Substitutes have a tough time coming into a new classroom. Creating a substitute folder is a great way to help them be successful. Make sure that you use a dark marker to clearly write Substitute Folder on the front and that you always leave it on your desk at the end of each day. This will ensure that if you have to call in sick, the substitute will be able to find and use the folder.
